NEWS & UPDATES

We're now using Notarize!

Connect with an on-demand notary anytime, anywhere

In today’s world, we can do almost anything virtually — work, buy groceries, order dinner, host meetings and get-togethers, or see a doctor — so we felt it was time to update our notarization process to make it faster, easier, and more secure. That is all possible with Notarize, an online notary service that is helping us improve our overall customer experience.

When it comes to providing financing, we want to get funds to our customers as quickly as possible without compromising security. Not only does Notarize save time, but it’s also a safer way to complete notarizations. All customer information is encrypted during a notary session and in all post-meeting data records, and an audit trail is created for every document showing the date and time the notarization took place. Notarize also gives users maximum control over how their data is used, provides more thorough record keeping, and is more verifiable than traditional notarization methods.

Plus, the process with Notarize is simpler and faster than ever and can work around a busy schedule, even outside normal business hours. A typical session takes just 15 minutes and follows the same basic steps:

1. Sign In and Review

You will receive an email from Notarize alerting you that a document needs notarization, and you will either be directed to create or sign in to your Notarize account. Then, you will review the documents ready for notarization.

2. Verify Your Identity

Before connecting with a notary, you will have the chance to check your microphone and camera. Next, you will verify your identity by answering five security questions tailored to you and taking a picture of the front and back of a government-issued photo ID.

3. Connect with a Notary

Once your identity has been verified, you will move into an online waiting room where your call will get picked up by a notary. After you’re connected, the notary will take you through the process of reviewing and signing your documents. Then, you have immediate access to your notarized documents and can send them immediately right from the app. It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3!

To get started with a session in Notarize, all you need is your social security number, a government-issued photo ID, a valid email address, and a device with audio, video, and internet capabilities. A task that would have taken hours before now just takes minutes!

Providing the best possible service to our customers is one of our top priorities, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our customer experience, which is why we’re so excited to be introducing this new notarization process through Notarize.
